During the pandemic, we all looked for little joys at home, and coffee was definitely one of them. Our team created a playful motion spot that positioned Nespresso as the go-to home cafe, with a simple message—home is where your coffee is.

Our task in promoting Nespresso’s new Vertuo brand was to encourage positive conversations around coffee in a Covid-19 setting that changed the way we live. For many people, the lack of variety in spaces meant eating, working, and doing chores at the same table.

We focused on the idea of each cup of coffee acting as a simple reminder and divider of a new time or situation within the same physical space. Steering away from industry norms, we aimed to capture the essence of the coffee experience through minimalistic shapes and color palettes. The key was to evoke Vertuo’s deep, rich aroma through soft and charming expressions and animations.
